Yay!

Our puppy slept in her room( the half bath) last night. Since we got her she has refused to stay in her room without letting us know how much she hates not being with us. She has been sleeping with us, but last night I just couldn't do it. She sleeps right up next to me putting her head underneath my chin and I haven't been sleeping great because I've been afraid I would squish her. Anyways, last night was the best sleep I've gotten for the past couple of days. I'm excited!! We'll see how well Josh does with her this week while I'm not here. He spoils her.

We got a puppy!

I've been wanting a puppy for a couple of months now and I was looking online at the classifieds yesterday and saw one that I had to have. After talking (begging) with Josh we decided to call and go look at it. Well, she came home with us. We named her Holly and she is a Pomeranian. She's good, but is like a newborn. She sleeps during the day and then wants to play at night so I was up a couple times last night with her and she finally ended up in the bed with me at about 6:00 am. I guess she's just preparing me for November when we have our new baby. Anyways..here are a couple of pictures. Isn't she cute?

At around 2:00 pm today my baby turns 2!! I can't believe how fast the time goes by. We had his birthday party at my parents this past weekend. I added a couple of pictures.

Baby birds!

I posted about the birds nest we found in our door wreath. Well, this morning Josh found that 2 of the eggs had hatched and we now have baby birds. They're kind of hard to see, but you can click on the pictures and get a bigger picture. Aren't they cute?

A tragedy in Steven Curtis Chapman's family.

Their 5 year old adopted daughter, Maria, was killed yesterday after being hit by a car in the family's driveway. Please keep this family in your prayers as they are going to have some rough days ahead of them. 16 weeks today!

I'm 16 weeks today! Only 4 more weeks until the half way point and the gender ultra sound!! I can't wait!
