39 week appointment.

I'm not adding a picture this week because I changed into raggedy clothes before I remembered to get Josh to take a picture and I'm too lazy to change back. Anyways, my appointment went well today. He said it looked like I could go any day now and was actually going to induce me tomorrow morning, but they only allow 3 elective induction per day and it was full for tomorrow. Thursday and Friday wouldn't work either because they are understaffed those two days so they decided not to schedule any inductions. I wouldn't schedule an induction for Friday anyways since I really do not want him to have a Halloween birthday if I can help it. I have to go back on Thursday because I had some protein in my urine and they want to check for preclampsia(sp), but he said it was probably fine since my blood pressure was 102/60. So, I go back on Monday(which is my due date) but he really doesn't think I'll make it. However, if I do we will schedule an induction then for probably Wednesday since Tuesday is election day and we've got to go vote, so our little man should be here sometime next week at the latest. I can't wait to meet him!

Our Weekend! Lots of pictures

My parents came down this weekend to bring us furniture for Hayden's room. We had a good weekend and it was nice to see them and us not have to drive the 2 hours. We spent Friday night cleaning up. I took pictures of Josh mopping b/c I think he's just too cute cleaning and he was doing this while I was sitting upstairs wasting time on the computer. I have a pretty good husband.

While Josh was cleaning Hayden was running around the downstairs being a wild man like he always is when his daddy is home.

Here's some pictures of him cheesing for the camera! Isn't he cute?!
Here's a cute picture of Hayden and Holly (partners in crime) on Friday. For most of the day they are together running around and getting into everything they shouldn't be.
He's such a ham! He loves the camera!

Saturday afternoon my parents got down here late afternoon. I met my mom at the mall while my dad took the furniture to the house for him and Josh to unload. My mom and I walked around for a few minutes and then went to babies r us so I could get a couple of things for Cason. I got this diaper bag in navy blue.

I'm really liking it! It's got lots of room for me to put all of Cason and Hayden's things is. I also got a boppy. I didn't have one for Hayden, but have been told I needed one so I got one. I also wanted to pick up a couple of clothing pieces and I did the dumbest thing. I got him some white short sleeve bodysuits that he could wear underneath his clothes which I did fine with. I got 0-3 months and then I got him some little pants he could wear over the bodysuits and some socks. Well, I got 3-6 months pants and 6-9 months socks. I don't know what I was thinking, and now I can't find the receipt to take them back. I can use the 3-6 months pants, but the 6-9 month socks I doubt we will use, since it will be summer time before he can wear them and then he won't need them. I think it's starting to show that I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep!

Anyways, after that my mom and I picked up an Applebee's platter and went back to our house and watched the Carolina game with Josh. We were really good sports because we are not Carolina fans. We are 100% for Clemson, but we watched and tried to root for those chickens, even though our Tigers lost earlier in the day. But it wasn't a good night for the South Carolina teams Carolina ended up losing after a close game.

Sunday, we got up and ate breakfast. My mom and I went through Hayden's clothes and put them away in his new dresser. The day before there was a train at the Mall of Georgia and my mom really wanted to take Hayden and let him ride so Hayden and I went with my parents to the Olive Garden for lunch and then took Hayden to let him ride the choo choo (that's what he calls it). I tried to get some good pictures, but was having a hard time. There were too many people in my way. Hayden's not too sure about what they are about to do.
I'm trying so hard right here to get him to look at me.
Then we went into the mall so I could get Hayden a belt and some socks and we had to stop and ride the choo choo and car in the mall.
Here's Hayden sitting on it.
My dad put money in it then and Hayden wasn't too sure he wanted to be on it anymore. He was trying to get down.
He wouldn't let go of my mom.
Riding in the car!

I was hoping Cason would decide to come this weekend since my parents were already here, but no such luck! But we had a good weekend anyways. It was nice to get out and do some things with Hayden before his brother gets here. Josh has been working every weekend for the past 2 months so we haven't gotten out too much. Josh and I wanted to take Hayden to the pumpkin patch once I got back home but Hayden hadn't had a nap and was grouchy, so maybe next weekend!

38 week picture!

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so hopefully there will be some progress I can report! I plan on asking them tomorrow how long overdue they would let me go. I was really hoping to go early but we will see. I can stand 2 more weeks, but I'm really hoping this doctor's office will induce at least on my due date if he's not here yet. This past week has not been fun. The few maternity clothes I have that still fit are starting not to fit anymore and getting up every hour at night to go to the restroom stinks, but at least it's getting close to the end. The days just seem to drag by though now.

37 weeks!

Cason now weighs between six and eight pounds and measures 18 to 21 inches long. He'll continue to gain weight this month.

I can't believe it's getting so close. I had my 37 week dr appointment today and it was pretty good. No weight gain and a good 2 cm dilated which is progress from last weeks barely 1 cm, so hopefully we will meet this little guy soon. I'm really hoping he comes next week. I know it's wishful thinking, but Josh finishes his last big job this Saturday and then things slow down so it would be the perfect time for him to make his debut! I know I could walk around for 3 more weeks at 2 cm, but I'm hoping that's not the case. I'm going to wash all of Cason's clothes and get our bag pretty much packed and have Josh put the carseat in the car tonight so we are all ready! I just hope Hayden will be okay sharing the attention, but I really think he's going to be a good big brother. We've been trying to get Hayden to say his name and yesterday Hayden started calling him Cay Cay. It's so cute. He got a hold of Cason's ultrasound pictures and was walking around saying baby Cay Cay.

1 more month!

I have exactly one more month until baby Cason's due date. We're really hoping he'll come the last week of October. That would be perfect for both Josh and me, but unfortunately it's not up to us! Anyways, this is going to be a busy month. We've got lots of last minute things to do. I started making a list yesterday and we are going to do a little bit daily. We are probably going to have a good bit of company though at our house and I want it to look decent, plus I do not want to be cleaning and organizing with a baby. Hopefully, this month will fly by though since I've got so much to do. I think I'm starting the nesting phase because I suddenly have this great urge to organize everything like our pantry and closets so hopefully I'll gets lots finished!

Birthday Weekend!

Last Wednesday, September 24th, was my birthday. I had a great birthday. My wonderful husband got me a new pair of sperry's and surprised me with a birthday cake and a sweet card from Hayden.

Then this past weekend I went to my parents and we celebrated then. Josh didn't get to go because he was working but Hayden and I had a good time anyways. We went Friday and went out to eat with my parents and then my dad went to work. So, my mom, brother, Hayden and I went grocery shopping to get the stuff for my birthday meal. (My mom asked me where I wanted to eat at and I told her I really just wanted her to make me my favorite meal and eat at the house.) Anyways, Hayden was wild and I ended up having to chase him around Bloom while my mom and brother (who were oblivious) checked out. He ran to the freezer section and was yelling pi pi. (Which is pizza in Hayden's words). Everyone was looking at him laughing and I was so embarrassed especially after running around the grocery store trying to catch him 8 months pregnant. I'm sure that was a sight to see. Saturday night all my grandparents came over and my mom fixed beef tips over rice, pineapple casserole, green beans, and rolls. Then we had my favorite cake...strawberry with cream cheese icing from Cakes by Shirley. Yum!! I got some money from my family so my mom and I will go on our annual trip to the Mall of Georgia after Cason is born.
Then on Sunday my mom and I went and saw Nights in Rodanthe.
I hadn't read the book so I really didn't have any idea what it was about, but it was good. However, I really wanted it to have a happy ending and it didn't! So, I hated that! Anyways, it was a great weekend!! I needed a nice weekend away. My weekends have been pretty boring lately with Josh working so much.
