This is our Christmas Card for this year, although we did not send them out. We went to get the boys pictures made for Christmas this year, and part of the package was getting Christmas cards so we just picked this one. I didn't want to send them out though because this is one of the pictures everyone is getting and I didn't want them to see their picture before Christmas. (I don't think anyone in our family reads my blog) They are also getting an individual picture of Hayden and Cayson. I will put those up later. I think they turned out pretty good. I just wish we could have gotten one of them together with Cayson smiling, but maybe next year.

Pictures
Here are a couple of 1 month pictures. Cayson went to the doctor the other day and weighed 10 lbs 3.5 ounces and was 22 1/8 inches longs. He is starting to stay awake longer during the day and is definitely more alert. We've even gotten a couple of smiles out of him. Also, I *think* we have gotten into a night routine. He is going to sleep around 11:00 pm and getting up around 4 am or 5 am to eat and then going back to sleep until about 8:00 or 9:00 am. He is also sleeping in his crib and not in our bed for the first stretch. Then we let him sleep in the bed with us. Once he starts moving around more though we will probably not do this anymore. For a couple of weeks there, I didn't think he was going to ever sleep in his crib. We would get him to sleep and about 5 minutes later would wake back up.
Now here are some pictures of Hayden. I'm afraid we have the future class clown. He is the biggest goof ball and we just can't help but laugh at him. He was totally hamming it up for the camera! Oh, and yes we have Reba on in the back ground. I think Josh and I have seen each episode at least 10 times but we watch it every night from 6-7 and 8-9.

1 month old.
Cayson is 1 month old today. I knew it would go fast, but it really doesn't seem like he should be a month old today. I think he is a bit spoiled, because he has been held pretty much 24/7 since he was born and now I can hardly set him down or he cries. I think he is going to be our cuddle bug. He loves to be close to us all the time and is just happiest when he is being held. Hayden is so independent and always has been. He would sit in his swing for hours if we let him. Cayson sits there for 2 minutes and if you are out of sight he starts crying and will stop as soon as you pick him up. He's a good baby though. We go for his 1 month appointment tomorrow and I bet he weighs 10 pounds. (He was 7lbs 8oz at birth). I'll add some recent pictures later.

Cayson Blake is here!
Cayson was actually born Monday, November 3rd. I started having contractions around 8:30 pm Sunday night. We got to the hospital around 12:30 am and he was born Monday afternoon at 12:57 pm. We almost didn't go in because I seriously thought it was all in my head since I couldn't believe he was going to be born on his due date. Our nurse told us only 3% of babies are actually born on their due dates with natural labor so I thought it was kind of neat. Anyways, Josh made me go. He called our doctor and she told us to come on in. I was so afraid they were going to send us home and I was going to look stupid, but nope he was born a little over 12 hours after we got to the hospital. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long. We had some little problems. My blood pressure dropped at one point to 80/50 and I had to wear an oxygen mask for several hours. I then got a fever and they had to start antibiotics. When he was born he had swallowed lots of amniotic fluid so I didn't even get to hold him for like an hour after he was born because they were trying to get it all out. Because of whatever was going on with me Cayson got an infection and our expected short stay in the hospital turned into almost a week long stay, so Cayson could be given antibiotics through an iv. We got to leave Saturday morning and have had a nurse come to our house to finish the antibiotics. She finished this morning and I'm so glad. My little man has been through so much since he's been born and I'm just ready to get into a routine. It was so hard being in the hospital for so long. I felt fine so I was ready to leave Tuesday morning, but ended up being discharged Wednesday. However, the hospital was nice enough to let me stay in my room the whole time Cayson was there. It was rough because I was bored and couldn't leave the room or they wouldn't hold my room and it would have been so much worse to come home without my baby, but everyone is doing great now and I'm so thankful! He is such a great baby. We have yet to really hear him cry. He's just so content and we are enjoying him so much. I don't even like to put him down. He's a bit spoiled because my mom was here pretty much all week and then my grandparents came down so he has been held pretty much 24/7 since he was born. Oh, and we decided to change the spelling from Cason to Cayson. Dh decided that he liked the y in it better.
Here are some pictures of our sweet baby boy! 1st Picture

39 week appointment.
I'm not adding a picture this week because I changed into raggedy clothes before I remembered to get Josh to take a picture and I'm too lazy to change back. Anyways, my appointment went well today. He said it looked like I could go any day now and was actually going to induce me tomorrow morning, but they only allow 3 elective induction per day and it was full for tomorrow. Thursday and Friday wouldn't work either because they are understaffed those two days so they decided not to schedule any inductions. I wouldn't schedule an induction for Friday anyways since I really do not want him to have a Halloween birthday if I can help it. I have to go back on Thursday because I had some protein in my urine and they want to check for preclampsia(sp), but he said it was probably fine since my blood pressure was 102/60. So, I go back on Monday(which is my due date) but he really doesn't think I'll make it. However, if I do we will schedule an induction then for probably Wednesday since Tuesday is election day and we've got to go vote, so our little man should be here sometime next week at the latest. I can't wait to meet him!

Our Weekend! Lots of pictures
My parents came down this weekend to bring us furniture for Hayden's room. We had a good weekend and it was nice to see them and us not have to drive the 2 hours. We spent Friday night cleaning up. I took pictures of Josh mopping b/c I think he's just too cute cleaning and he was doing this while I was sitting upstairs wasting time on the computer. I have a pretty good husband.
While Josh was cleaning Hayden was running around the downstairs being a wild man like he always is when his daddy is home. Here's some pictures of him cheesing for the camera! Isn't he cute?!
Here's a cute picture of Hayden and Holly (partners in crime) on Friday. For most of the day they are together running around and getting into everything they shouldn't be.
He's such a ham! He loves the camera!
Saturday afternoon my parents got down here late afternoon. I met my mom at the mall while my dad took the furniture to the house for him and Josh to unload. My mom and I walked around for a few minutes and then went to babies r us so I could get a couple of things for Cason. I got this diaper bag in navy blue.
I'm really liking it! It's got lots of room for me to put all of Cason and Hayden's things is. I also got a boppy. I didn't have one for Hayden, but have been told I needed one so I got one. I also wanted to pick up a couple of clothing pieces and I did the dumbest thing. I got him some white short sleeve bodysuits that he could wear underneath his clothes which I did fine with. I got 0-3 months and then I got him some little pants he could wear over the bodysuits and some socks. Well, I got 3-6 months pants and 6-9 months socks. I don't know what I was thinking, and now I can't find the receipt to take them back. I can use the 3-6 months pants, but the 6-9 month socks I doubt we will use, since it will be summer time before he can wear them and then he won't need them. I think it's starting to show that I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep!
Anyways, after that my mom and I picked up an Applebee's platter and went back to our house and watched the Carolina game with Josh. We were really good sports because we are not Carolina fans. We are 100% for Clemson, but we watched and tried to root for those chickens, even though our Tigers lost earlier in the day. But it wasn't a good night for the South Carolina teams Carolina ended up losing after a close game.
Sunday, we got up and ate breakfast. My mom and I went through Hayden's clothes and put them away in his new dresser. The day before there was a train at the Mall of Georgia and my mom really wanted to take Hayden and let him ride so Hayden and I went with my parents to the Olive Garden for lunch and then took Hayden to let him ride the choo choo (that's what he calls it). I tried to get some good pictures, but was having a hard time. There were too many people in my way. Hayden's not too sure about what they are about to do.
I'm trying so hard right here to get him to look at me.
Then we went into the mall so I could get Hayden a belt and some socks and we had to stop and ride the choo choo and car in the mall.
Here's Hayden sitting on it. My dad put money in it then and Hayden wasn't too sure he wanted to be on it anymore. He was trying to get down.
He wouldn't let go of my mom.
Riding in the car!
I was hoping Cason would decide to come this weekend since my parents were already here, but no such luck! But we had a good weekend anyways. It was nice to get out and do some things with Hayden before his brother gets here. Josh has been working every weekend for the past 2 months so we haven't gotten out too much. Josh and I wanted to take Hayden to the pumpkin patch once I got back home but Hayden hadn't had a nap and was grouchy, so maybe next weekend!
