Our Weekend!

Josh, the boys and I went to my parents this weekend so we could go to a wedding. My best friend growing up got married and it was a beautiful wedding. We were best friends for years. Then I moved schools and we kind of lost touch, but it was so wonderful being able to see her get married, and yet kind of weird too. I have so many memories of us a little girls and it truly seems like just yesterday. Anyways, we had a good time! We didn't get to stay for the entire reception, because we had to get home to our boys who my grandparents were watching since my parents went to the wedding with us.

Here are some pictures... Josh and me at the reception
My mom and me at the reception. (I know she looks kind of tired...she's been sick for the past week) Me and the Bride, Anna. My mom had to get this picture. She has a picture of us,when we were little, that Anna gave me when we were younger playing in leaves and she wanted a picture of us to put beside it.
Josh and me before we left the reception.

6 months!

My little man turned 6 months old Sunday, March 3rd. He's getting so big!

What he's doing:

Rolling around everywhere! I think he wants to start crawling too. He can get up on his knees and his hands. He just hasn't figured out how to do both at the same time yet. So, I'm thinking maybe by next month he will have mastered this.

We had to go to the doctor 2 weeks ago for an ear infection and he weighed 17 pounds 1 ounce. Oops! This reminds me, he has a doctor's appointment coming up really soon and I have no idea when it is. We may have missed it...off to call! Update: We went to the doctor today and he weight 18 lbs! He's in the 59th percentile!

He's a big eater. He's eating oatmeal in the morning, 2 things of baby food at lunch and 2 things of baby food at dinner. He's also drinking three 8 ounce bottles of formula.

We introduced juice to him this month. I dilute it heavily, but he seems to like it.

Here are some recent pictures!

I love his chunky little legs!!

Our weekend 04/25-04/26 and lots of pictures!

I have been meaning to post this for several days, but have been busy studying for finals. Anyways, this was our weekend. We had a great one! It's going to start with Sunday though, since I downloaded the pictures backwards and I'm too lazy to fix them.

Sunday we went to the park. We have a really nice one about 2 minutes away from our house and Hayden loves it! We are going to start going every Sunday, after church. Though, we didn't go the past weekend due to the swine or H1N1 flu going around. I'm really trying to limit their exposure to another people right now as much as I can, but once it settles down, we will start going every Sunday.

Saturday, we had a festival type thing in the city we live in. We missed the parade, but we went to the festival and walked around. It was pretty neat. Their were lots of businesses set up advertising their business. Josh said he's going to try and do that next year. But they had lots of food and activities set up for children. It was fun.

Here's Hayden on the pony. I was telling him to smile at daddy, but I think he was a little nervous about riding. He had fun though.
Here's Cayson watching his brother. He was great the whole time. He's like his brother and loves to be outside.
Hayden was showing me what pony he wanted to ride.
This is so funny! They had a little place set up where you could go and pet the animals. Hayden had so much fun doing this. He likes to terrorize the animals though. He was chasing them instead of petting them.

Here's Hayden sliding on the big inflatable slide thing they had. He loved this!

Time Out!

Hayden has now started putting us in time-out for things that he doesn't like. It's too funny. Yesterday, Josh said something to me(I don't even remember now) and for some reason Hayden didn't like it. I don't know if he was trying to talk to me or get my attention or what now. But, he looked at Josh and said, "Don't talk to mommy, daddy! You need to go to time-out." Haha! It was so funny. So, Josh went and sat in the corner like Hayden told him to. Hayden's nice though and only made him sit there for about 5 seconds before he told him he could get up and grabbed his hand to help him. I guess it was just on his mind because while he was at his school yesterday a little girl bit him on the finger. I think they were trying to play with the same toy. I was so proud of him for not biting her back. The teachers said that he just kind of looked her with this face of shock...like why did you just do that to me. But she had to sit in time-out. So that was all the could talk about yesterday...the girl biting him and her having to sit in time-out. But I just thought it was so funny that he told his daddy he needed to sit in time out.

Our Weekend and lots of pictures!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a wonderful Easter. I know it's a little late, but anyways...we had a good Easter weekend. We spent the weekend with my parents. Saturday, we gave my uncle's fiance a wedding shower. They got lots of great stuff. Most of it was pink...Becky (his fiance) is obsessed with pink so now just about everything in their kitchen will be pink. It was fun though and we had good food...and strawberry cake...my favorite!!! On Sunday, we went to my parents church (although I'm thinking some maybe wished we hadn't...I'll tell that in a minute) and then had lunch with all my family at my parents house. Josh and I completely missed the service because we took Hayden and Cayson in with us instead of taking them to the nursery because it's not our regular church and I didn't want to leave them somewhere unfamiliar and then during the service Hayden got sick. He had gotten sick earlier in the morning and while we were slightly concerned he acted fine and didn't get sick for like 2 hours and both times it was after he drank Sunny D. We kind of began to wonder if it was the juice. We are 99.9% sure he didn't have a stomach virus because if my mom or I come anywhere near someone with it we both catch it and neither one of us got anything...so I don't know what was wrong with him. After he got sick he kept saying he wanted fries so we stopped at McDonalds and got him hash browns since it was too early for fries. After he ate them he was fine the rest of the day. But other than that we had a good day. We got to spend the day eating yummy food and Josh got to go to a Clemson game with my aunt, uncle, cousin and brother. He had fun...even though he isn't a Clemson fan and told the guy sitting beside him he was rooting for the other team.
Here are lots of pictures from our weekend! I wanted a family picture so bad, but we didn't have time before church and when we got back Hayden had sunny d all over his shirt and by the time I washed and dried them we had all changed.
His daddy loved this picture...ha! (He is not a Clemson fan!)

The next pictures our of Hayden's Easter Egg Hunt.
Haha! I think he's too cute!
I thought this was sweet!

5 months!

Cayson turned 5 months Friday. He's getting so big!He was a little slow on rolling over, but is now rolling back to front and front to back constantly. He loves being on his tummy too and as soon as I lay him in his crib he is flipped over on the tummy. He is eating baby food and loves it. I give him cereal and fruit in the mornings and then a veggie and fruit for lunch and veggie and fruit for dinner. He usually has 2-3 bottles during the day as well. He's a good eater. He loves his big brother and watches everything he does and laughs at him. (I'm scared! :) ) He is just the sweetest thing. The only time he ever cries is when he's hungry or tired and when he's tired he just kind of whimpers. He really likes playing with his little toys. He also sleeps great. We get about 12 hours at night and he's taking 2 naps during the day. Usually an 1 hour long one in the morning and 1 2-3 hour one in the afternoon. We just love him more and more and are so glad he is in our family. I think he is going to be much more mellow than his brother...at least that is what I keep telling myself, and everyday I beg with him not to get any bigger. It seems like yesterday that we were in the hospital with him. :(
And here's a picture of my other munchkin! He's soon to be 3! Where does time go?! :(

March Pictures!

It's been awhile since I've blogged. I'm a horrible blogger...I've just been so busy. Well actually, this week I've been on Spring Break and I've just been lazy! But anyways...I've gotten some cute pictures of my boys I wanted to share!

I love this picture!! I can't believe he's 4 months already, and my big boy is already in 6-12 month clothes!

Don't you just love a sleeping baby?! Unfortunately after I took this picture he woke up and it took me about an hour to get him to go back to sleep. Not sure how many more sleeping baby pictures I'll take.

Sweet brotherly love! I hope they will always be close!

Our snow of the year. It's so funny how our weather is, but we lived in the South all our lives so we're used to it. It snowed one day though and then the following week it's 80 degrees and now we're back down in the 50's for a couple of days. Anyways, Hayden wasn't so sure because I couldn't find his gloves anywhere so his little hands were cold. He was only out there for about 5 minutes. I felt bad that we could not find his gloves so he could play in it longer.

Here's a picture of my hubby in the snow...just cause I think he's cute! :)
