Our weekend!

This past Sunday we had our boys baptized and joined a church we have attended for the past couple of months. It was a really nice day. Our families got to join us and we went out to eat to Provino's afterwards. Provino's is a really good Italian restaurant.

Saturday we went to have the boy's pictures made. We had made an appointment at 4. We got
there about10 minutes early and they told us they would get to us in about 20 minutes. Well, after we sat there forever and they were only on their 3:15 appointments Cayson needs a bottle and then proceeds to have a major blowout all over his outfit he was wearing in the picture and Sunday when he got baptized. So we had to change his appointment, but it was really fine with me. We were all getting hungry and probably would have sat there for another hour. So,we went on Sunday evening and they turned out pretty good. Hayden and Cayson both have extremely dry skin and because Cayson's is so sensitive anyways just being a baby he's little cheeks were so red and dry. Poor thing! It itches him so then he scratches at it and gets little scratch marks on his face. So all this was kind of noticeable in the pictures. But, I really wanted a picture of them in their Baptismal outfits and knew if we waited we would never get it done and also run the risk that Cayson would not fit in his.

Here are some of my favorites.

Success so far!

I was a little nervous starting back school. It's been a little while since I've been in class and had to take tests and study. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle everything especially with 2 kids on top of it all. It's been a little tough...mainly getting into a routine. Josh is working lots so I'm at home by myself with 2 kids and it makes it much more difficult to get stuff done and concentrate on studying, but today I got my first test back and made an A and I made an A on a project I got back last week. So, it's going pretty well, but it is definitely a lot harder with 2 kids. However, in a way I think it helps me because when I get some quiet time I completely devote that time to school work since I don't know how long that free time will last and I really don't do well staying up crazy hours to get things done. I'm one of those people that needs at least 8 hours of sleep to function and would really prefer about 10.

Valentines Day!

We didn't do much for Valentines Day. I actually went to my parents the day before because I made a hair appointment for Hayden and the soonest day she had available was Valentines Day and he was needing it bad. Josh had to work so he stayed here and plus we don't have anyone around here I know and trust to watch my babies for us to go out on a romantic date or anything. I also choose not to go out on Valentines Day nights. You may not know this about me, but big crowds make me really anxious and I can get a little frustrated and moody so we try and avoid big crowds and long waits. But my sweet husband didn't let me go without something. He never misses a holiday and I feel bad, because I never get him anything. He tried to surprise me, but Josh is horrible keeping secrets and told me he got something and wanted me to guess. Well, I did. I hate when he does that to me, because I really do like surprises and he never can surprise me because he can't keep secrets. Anyways, I have been wanting a Vera Bradley make up bag so he picked one out for me and did a really good job. I love it and it's a lot better than the old one I had. He also got me a really sweet card!

3 months!

I know I am so behind. Cayson turned 3 months February 3rd, but a little late is better than never right?? Anyways, I know this has been my excuse lately, but I've been so busy with school and spending all my time away from studying with my 3 boys.
But here is my little monkey!
He is getting so big! He is the best baby though. We just love him. He is always full of smiles and rarely ever cries except when he is hungry. He has gotten to where he eats 8 ounces of formula at a time and he is sleeping great! He goes to bed sometime between 6:00 and 7:00pm and sleeps straight through until about 7:30 am. He also takes 2-3 naps during the day. So we feel really lucky that we got another good baby. Hayden was like this as well. They just know their momma couldn't handle colic or no sleep.

And... here is a picture of my other little man in my life just because I think he's so cute!

We got a few little snow flurries so here he is trying to catch the snow with his tongue.
