I have exactly one more month until baby Cason's due date. We're really hoping he'll come the last week of October. That would be perfect for both Josh and me, but unfortunately it's not up to us! Anyways, this is going to be a busy month. We've got lots of last minute things to do. I started making a list yesterday and we are going to do a little bit daily. We are probably going to have a good bit of company though at our house and I want it to look decent, plus I do not want to be cleaning and organizing with a baby. Hopefully, this month will fly by though since I've got so much to do. I think I'm starting the nesting phase because I suddenly have this great urge to organize everything like our pantry and closets so hopefully I'll gets lots finished!

Birthday Weekend!
Last Wednesday, September 24th, was my birthday. I had a great birthday. My wonderful husband got me a new pair of sperry's and surprised me with a birthday cake and a sweet card from Hayden.
Then this past weekend I went to my parents and we celebrated then. Josh didn't get to go because he was working but Hayden and I had a good time anyways. We went Friday and went out to eat with my parents and then my dad went to work. So, my mom, brother, Hayden and I went grocery shopping to get the stuff for my birthday meal. (My mom asked me where I wanted to eat at and I told her I really just wanted her to make me my favorite meal and eat at the house.) Anyways, Hayden was wild and I ended up having to chase him around Bloom while my mom and brother (who were oblivious) checked out. He ran to the freezer section and was yelling pi pi. (Which is pizza in Hayden's words). Everyone was looking at him laughing and I was so embarrassed especially after running around the grocery store trying to catch him 8 months pregnant. I'm sure that was a sight to see. Saturday night all my grandparents came over and my mom fixed beef tips over rice, pineapple casserole, green beans, and rolls. Then we had my favorite cake...strawberry with cream cheese icing from Cakes by Shirley. Yum!! I got some money from my family so my mom and I will go on our annual trip to the Mall of Georgia after Cason is born.
Then on Sunday my mom and I went and saw Nights in Rodanthe.I hadn't read the book so I really didn't have any idea what it was about, but it was good. However, I really wanted it to have a happy ending and it didn't! So, I hated that! Anyways, it was a great weekend!! I needed a nice weekend away. My weekends have been pretty boring lately with Josh working so much.

34 weeks!
I'm 34 weeks this week. I only have 6 weeks left and I'm really hoping for more like 4. Cason is now between 19 and 20" and weighs about 5 lbs. He's the size of a medium pumpkin! :) Anyways, I had an appointment on Tuesday and everything looked good. I've gained 1 lb in the past 4 weeks, which isn't too bad although I feel like I look like I've gained about 5. Anyways, that puts my total to about 25 lbs. So, I'm hoping not to gain too much more. His heart beat has been pretty consistent. It's been in the 140's the whole time. It was 145 on Tuesday. I go back in 2 weeks (at 36 weeks) and then I go every week up until delivery! It's getting close!!

Bedding Decisions?
We've got to buy Hayden new bedding since we moved the crib and Hayden's old bedding into Cason's room. I'm having a hard time deciding what to get. I've got it narrowed down to two, but can't decide.
I was all set on the sports one, but recently Hayden has really taken to trains. He says choo choo about 1,000 times a day. So, I really don't know. In some ways I think he could use the sports one longer(it looks a little older), but I like both of them the same. So, what do you think? Which one do you like best? Help me out please!!!

32 Weeks!
I'm 32 weeks today. I can't believe Cason is now probably somewhere between 4 and 4 1/2 lbs and 15-17 inches long. I only have about 6 to 8 weeks left. I'm hoping it's closer to 6, although we still have have some stuff we need to do before he's here and Josh has some big work jobs he's doing and he's working really hard to get them finished over the next couple of weekends so he can devote his weekends to us once the baby is here. It stinks now though because he's working every weekend all weekend. But hopefully these next weeks will go by fast. I'm going to the doctor every 2 weeks now, which makes time go by a little more quickly. I have an appointment tomorrow, although if it's anything like the last couple it won't be exciting at all. We are also going on the hospital tour on Thursday, so that should be fun!! Here are my most recent pictures!
31 weeks!
This one was taken last night so 31 weeks 6 days.

Potty Time!!
We bought Hayden a potty probably 5 or 6 months ago with the hopes that we could have him potty trained before Cason gets here. We would really prefer to not have to buy diapers for 2. Anyways, we haven't been pushing it that much..just trying to get him used to it and having him sit on it. Well, the other day I bought him some lollipops to bribe him with. I've let him run around without a diaper in the morning to see if I could get him to go that way..well this morning it worked!!! I noticed him acting funny and he then went to grab a diaper and I told him to go sit on his potty. He ran to it and peed!! He has gone twice today on his potty so I think we may be on to something! I'm so proud of him! We cheered and clapped, his potty sang to him (yes, we have a singing potty), and had lollipops!! Hopefully we can have him pretty much completely potty trained by the time Cason is here, so that gives us about 8 weeks! I hope this wasn't a fluke, but Hayden is really pretty consistent. Once he gets the hang of something he sticks to it so we'll see!
